About The Position

Pond is seeking an Asset Management Project Manager to support our Asset Management (AM) group. In this role, you will manage AM division operations by providing administrative oversight, supervising technical staff, and coordinating project efforts with clients and internal teams. The Asset Management Project Manager will work closely with client and contract project managers to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with contract requirements and established processes. This position requires strong knowledge of facility asset management practices and federal facility sustainment and maintenance methodologies. This role requires approximately 25% travel (about one week per month on average).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in facility asset management or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of facility asset management.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methodologies, and practices of architecture and engineering as they relate to facility asset management.
  • Knowledge of federal facility sustainment and maintenance methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling, Revit, construction management, facility maintenance, and application development is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Asset Management (AM) Division by providing administrative oversight of unit operations.
  • Prepare, administer, and work with subordinate technical staff to provide asset management services.
  • Supervise the work methods and products of subordinate staff.
  • Develop strong client relationships to facilitate successful, timely, and profitable projects as well as repeat business.
  • Communicate directly with client and contract project managers to coordinate and organize project efforts.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly status reports in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, as necessary.
  • Develop project management plans and project schedules.
  • Review resource availability and set team assignments.
  • Prepare project templates including:
  • Meeting agendas
  • Guidelines documentation
  • Memos
  • Presentation slides
  • Asset management meeting minutes
  • Reports
  • Submittal packages
  • Task lists
  • Data request lists
  • Coordinate with Geospatial staff to prepare map and document templates, geodatabase requirements, and style guides as needed.
  • Ensure project team compliance with required government data requirements, control techniques, and training.
  • Perform periodic reviews of project files and documentation to ensure compliance with established processes, product standards, and SOW requirements.
  • Provide comments to task managers for correction as needed.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) reviews on all work products prior to submittal or distribution.
