About The Position

The Project Manager (Automotive) is accountable for developing, maintaining, updating, distributing, and managing estimates, observing and monitoring the performance of the Superintendent, and overseeing change orders and the billing process. This individual will also be responsible for supervising subcontractor performance, ensuring the project meets quality and performance specifications and regulatory requirements, managing the start-up of the project, reviewing costs against estimates for each total project, and updating labor productivity reports. Individual assignments will vary based on project scope, phase, and job requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree related to the construction industry
  • 5 years’ experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related activities with exposure to projects in excess of $20 million within the automotive and/or manufacturing sectors
  • Specific experience related to equipment installation (tooling, conveyors, and associated structural steel modifications) is required
  • Candidates may permanently reside anywhere in the US but must will be willing to travel to project locations anywhere across North America for extended periods of time (up to 85%)
