About The Position

Join a high-performing Global Banking team as an Advisory Services Project Manager, where you’ll lead strategic initiatives that transform and optimize working capital for financial institutions and corporate clients across the globe. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner directly with senior stakeholders, deliver innovative, data-driven solutions, and drive measurable financial performance improvements on a global scale. This opportunity is based on-site (4 days a week) with clients in New York City or Jersey City, placing you at the center of the financial services industry’s most dynamic markets.

Requirements

  • Candidates with 12+ years of experience as Project Manager role in business consulting/advisory services
  • Business domain expertise is must in Investment Banking Capital Markets trade flows in one of business lines like Prime Services, Electronic Equities, Clearing and Settlements, Fixed Income (which include bonds and other debt instruments), Futures and Options from the front office to middle and back-office operations
  • Expertise in liaising with business legal and compliance teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to facilitate and lead remote, cross-functional, cross-location meetings
  • Hands-on Project Manager who managed projects related to large scale transformation in Capital Markets Investment Banking space.
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle is mandatory from execution to settlement in one of the following areas: o Equity Derivatives o Securities Lending o Fixed Income o Corp Action o Treasury Clearing
  • Able to interact with multiple teams & functions: Traders, developers, Operations, up to senior management.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation.
  • Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Wiki

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrating large programs across multiple business stakeholders, traders, operations, and technology ecosystem
  • Coordinate with the IT team for project completion
  • Identify and communicate key project risks, define mitigation strategies and manage to resolution
  • Manage diverse projects that vary in duration and size/complexity to deliver desired business outcomes, and to a high level of stakeholder satisfaction
  • Develop detailed, high-quality project plans including roadmap, timeline, resources, scope, schedule, assumptions, dependencies, etc.
