About The Position

This is a dual role as Control Account Manager(CAM) Lead and CAM for a Directorate/Function. As a CAM lead, you will also be the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) Manager for all assigned control accounts as well as assist other CAMs at the Denver location. This will include leading and monitoring the CAMs through weekly and monthly technical, cost, and schedule business rhythms in addition to their planning, budgeting, and variance reporting. The successful candidate will also support and assist leadership with day-to-day operations and status reporting. Candidate will also need to gather and provide financial information as required or requested to the CAM Manager and CAM Sr. Manager or other leadership. As a CAM for a program directorate and one or more Work Breakdown Elements, you will be responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of a product(s) within the FBM portfolio. You will have ownership of all aspects from design through delivery. The Product Owner will oversee daily tasking across a multi-functional team, including but not limited to, engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning and production. This position will be CAM of record for one or multiple control accounts associated with that product. The candidate will work closely with: Certified Principal Engineers and Responsible System Engineer, to help resolve any technical issues; Resource Analysts to budget, track and estimate cost; Planning to schedule and status progress; Supplier Management to track and update non-labor deliveries. This will include leading, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for multiple projects, over multiple contract Line Items and contracts. The role is challenging, but also very rewarding with significant potential for exposure on this high-visibility, fast moving and complex program with career advancement in the Program Management function.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
  • Experience working with multiple functions simultaneously to execute a program, including Program Management, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance,
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) or similar experiences, including Earned Value Management tracking, reporting and Variance Analysis writing,
  • Experience managing performance metrics,
  • Tableau Familiarity with ability to effectively utilize data.
  • You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Cost, Technical, Schedule execution for selected projects(s), with a focus on meeting delivery commitment dates and budget targets.
  • Resolving programmatic challenges within your scope and establishing risk mitigation activities.
  • Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication, and overall Earned Value Management (EVM) performance of your span of control. This can include generation of monthly VARs.
  • Developing a baseline plan and managing overall execution of support organizations required to ensure program execution success, such as Supplier Management Operations, Engineering, Finance and Planning.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements for your program scope with the program leadership team for consolidation of total program requirements.
  • Reporting and briefing to the Director and/or Managers at recurring reviews within the program business rhythm.
  • Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope as well as for the Denver CAM community.
