We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of conveyor system projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating various teams, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • 5 plus years of experience
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects in the automotive industry
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Automotive experience needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to conveyor design and functionality

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for conveyor installations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Lead project teams, including site supervisors and installation crews, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Enforce quality standards throughout the project, ensuring that all installations meet specifications and client requirements.
  • Monitor and control project costs, tracking expenses, and reporting on budget performance.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, including status reports, cost reports, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
