You will also benefit from a thorough handover period with our highly experienced current role holder, who will retire next year.” – Ilkka Naatti, Director, Technology Development What you will do Work as part of the Technology Development team, leading mechanical engineering activities in investment and development projects. Plan and prepare factory and production line layouts and detail drawings, including dimensioning, calculations, and diagrams. Prepare budgets, schedules, reports, specifications, bids, and contracts that support investments and development projects. Coordinate assigned projects from initial definition through installation, pre-engineering, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, commissioning, training, and handover. Maintain and prepare project, maintenance, and training documentation. Coordinate and participate personally in equipment installations, inspections, training, and start-ups. Contribute to the development of engineering and project management tools. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including UPM Adhesive Materials production units, vendors, consultants, contractors, and our global development teams. Who you are You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial investment projects.
