JOB SUMMARY East West is adding a dynamic Project Manager to join their Engineering team to lead cross‑functional product development initiatives from concept through production, partnering closely with customers, engineering teams, and global manufacturing sites to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations. This role drives project planning, risk mitigation, communication, and stakeholder alignment while maintaining detailed documentation and proactively resolving issues to keep programs on track. Serving as the connective point between technical teams and customer needs, the Project Manager ensures smooth execution, strong collaboration, and successful product launches in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. This Atlanta‑based role reports to the Senior Project Manager and offers a hybrid work schedule. Requirements

  • 4-Year Degree in engineering, engineering technology, or experience in an engineering project management role.
  • 3-8 years of experience leading cross-functional product development projects.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated success in creatively solving problems.
  • Rapid issue resolution and driving consensus among multiple stakeholders.
  • Capable of working in a hands-on, fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and portfolio management software is preferred.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a customer-facing engineering service role preferred.
  • Professional Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all engineering aspects of the Solutions Engineering stage‑gate process, working directly with customers to define requirements and preparing internal teams for production at corporate and contract facilities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product development projects from kickoff through mass production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support project success.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, business development, account management, quality, and global manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and address issues promptly to maintain momentum.
  • Track progress, monitor KPIs, and deliver clear, consistent status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage scope changes, evaluate impacts, and communicate adjustments effectively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, risks, and status reports.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable industry standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead engineering activities within the NPI process, ensuring requirements are understood and teams are prepared to support production at all facilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement within project management and NPI processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Support the creation and implementation of ISO‑compliant processes for NPI.
