About The Position

The Project Manager I manages project activities including developing, implementing, tracking timelines and deliverables, and providing periodic evaluations and reports for projects that are generally small in scope, for the Together for a Better Tomorrow program activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of project management/implementation or closely related experience to include some supervisory and stakeholder management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A Class “C” vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • At least 3 years of related experience providing managerial support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, & writing).
  • Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
  • Department of State Health Services (DSHS) certification, certified CHW and/or CHWI, Promotora Certification of Training, or ability to successfully complete Promotora Certification.
  • Two years of related experience as a Community Health Worker working with Spanish-speaking community members, stakeholders, and completing research and outreach activities.
  • Public relations and marketing experience.
  • Experience with assisting or leading training efforts.
  • Experience with short- and long-term planning
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with large data collection and data management efforts.
  • Experience with community-based participatory research efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management Manages project activities including, but not limited to, developing protocols and guidelines, implementing procedures, tracking processes, and providing periodic evaluations and reports for the “Together for a Better Tomorrow” program.
  • Project Management Support Coordinates project activities and resources, including project records, in conjunction with the leadership team and other team members to ensure they are in line with business strategies and in accordance with project management standards.
  • Project Planning Establishes goals that support our “Together for a Better Tomorrow” project delivery, problem solves and periodically travels to conduct meetings with team members and stakeholders to schedule and coordinate those activities.
