The successful candidate provides end-to-end leadership for information and technology projects, ensuring alignment with IT project management standards, organizational priorities, and regulatory requirements. Directs planning, governance, performance oversight, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery and seamless transition to operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years of project management experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with project management principles, methodologies, and multiple application development life cycles (e.g., Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, XP, Kanban).
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt project plans, metrics, and communication approaches in response to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assess, articulate, and communicate project risks, changes, and impacts effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management and/or agile certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented focus on business outcomes and related metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of information and technology projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues using standardized project management methodologies.
  • Monitor performance, ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and formally close projects by transitioning deliverables to operations.
  • Establish project governance through status reporting, decision tracking, and steering committee communication.
  • Communicate project status, risks, changes, and impacts clearly and consistently to stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely issue resolution.
  • Adapt leadership and communication approaches to support changing priorities and business needs.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain shared understanding of project goals, progress, and challenges across technical teams, users, and sponsors.
  • Align business requirements with technical solutions to support successful project outcomes.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development in project management practices and methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, tools, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
