About The Position

The Center for Advancing Dyadic Care in Pediatrics (“CADP”) seeks a seasoned project manager with experience in supporting projects focused on IT and preferably perinatal and/or pediatric behavioral health and health care settings. This position is focused on supporting progress with an initiative to leverage new Medi-Cal benefits to implement sustainable integrated behavioral health programs in pediatric primary care clinics. The seasoned project manager supports the implementation of a special statewide projects from beginning to end, collaborating with multiple team leads to coordinate and ensure timely and satisfactory completion of work. This will include responsibilities such as developing communication and implementation plans, developing workflows, tools to track project deliverables for sponsors, Third Party Administrators, subcontracts and consultants. The role will oversee management of data software and web-based platforms for efficient deliverable tracking mechanisms, coordinating partners and deliverables to ensure progress with the initiatives, supporting development of programmatic materials to increase capacity for clinicians and other partners to access and understand the concepts of the target services, and analytic support to aid progress with program evaluation. The ideal candidate will be able to function both independently and as part of a team. It is preferred that the candidate have experience with some IT product development in addition to pediatric health care, pediatric health care, pediatric behavioral health, and public health financing. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $90,700 - $193,500 (Annual Rate). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Minimum 3+ years directly relevant experience
  • Requires basic knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts
  • Working knowledge of initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives
  • Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration or other related fields
  • Experience in IT software product development, preferably Learning Management System
  • Experience with project management in healthcare settings
  • Experience with project management in public health/Medicaid systems
  • Experience with project management within behavioral health systems of care
  • Project management certification from a reputable organization such as Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master Certificate or Agile Certified Practitioner to include a qualifying exam and / or quality assurance processes like Six Sigma or Lean or equivalent project management experience required
