About The Position

The  Project Manager for nuclear engineering services will function in a mid-level project manager capacity. You will own multiple medium to large services encompassing studies, plant modifications, and Extended Power Uprate (EPU) projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide technical support for client projects with design review services, design engineering services, and development engineering support.  Support client projects with feasibility studies, and cost estimates.  Provide proposal support for client projects with technical specification preparation, RFP support, and bid evaluation support.  Oversee EPC contractors for client projects. As a Project Manager in our Nuclear Solution you are the execution hub for our clients and project teams, providing leadership and alignment for successful nuclear generation projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Due to nuclear export control requirements, Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized U.S Citizen
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience with increasing responsibility.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering services or EPC Project Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Nuclear power projects, especially plant modifications using the industry Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001).
  • Strong electrical engineering background in power generation facilities is preferred, specifically with generator and transformer replacement or upgrade projects, including design review and execution support.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes nuclear and industrial safety culture.
  • Oversees planning, developing, and tracking of Services and/or EPC projects including areas of execution performance, financial metrics, schedule adherence, quality outcomes, contractual compliance, safety performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Manages all aspects of proposals and opportunity pursuits for small to medium Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects.
  • Works with Discipline Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and Construction Managers to execute projects to a high standard commensurate with the nuclear industry.
  • Manages escalated problems or issues.
  • Manage multiple projects and interface with client management, supervisors, and engineering staff at all stages of project development and execution.
