The Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives will report to the SVP, Public Policy & Strategic Initiatives to drive mission-critical, enterprise-wide priorities forward. This requires someone who can manage complexity, navigate matrixed environments, hold stakeholders accountable, and keep multi-workstream initiatives on track. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, and a genuine commitment to Good360's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level initiatives will be considered.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management, strategic planning, or organizational operations, ideally in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of driving accountability and delivering results on time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with senior leaders, board members, and external partners.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive-level materials.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet), and collaboration platforms.
  • Self-directed with sound judgment, a bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management for enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting, with clear accountability for outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and cross-functional accountability frameworks for matrixed initiatives.
  • Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and blockers; develop mitigation strategies, assign accountability, and escalate appropriately.
  • Drive structured governance for key initiatives, including meeting cadences, status reporting, and decision-making frameworks that reinforce cross-team accountability.
  • Prepare project briefing materials, presentations, dashboards, and strategic documentation for leadership, Board, and external audiences.
  • Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder meetings, including agenda development, effective facilitation, and action-item tracking with clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Maintain visibility across the organization's strategic initiative portfolio; surface conflicts, gaps, and opportunities to leadership.
  • Build and refine project management processes, tools, and frameworks that improve how Good360 executes its most important priorities.
  • Support change management and communication efforts associated with major organizational initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
