About The Position

ITnova is seeking a Security Hardware and Software Maintenance Project Manager. This position is responsible for managing maintenance and support projects for integrated security, monitoring, and network systems. This role oversees project planning, coordination, quality assurance, and customer support while ensuring systems meet technical, contractual, and performance requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing maintenance projects of similar size and scope.
  • Prior experience with CCTV, Security Systems, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, Emergency Call Systems, and Audio/Visual systems.
  • Senior-level experience maintaining Ethernet networks, including WANs, LANs, and WLANs.
  • At least three (3) years of experience providing direct customer support.
  • At least three (3) years of management experience demonstrating strong coordination, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience maintaining Ambient Air Monitoring Systems.
  • Experience managing integrated security hardware and software maintenance projects.
  • Strong technical documentation and multi-project management skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or a Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance projects of similar size and scope, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using industry-standard project management methodologies.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact and provide direct customer support.
  • Oversee system design review, installation coordination, maintenance, QA/QC, and systems testing for: CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Emergency Call, Ambient Air Monitoring, Audio/Visual, and related security systems.
  • Oversee maintenance of Ethernet networks (WANs, LANs, WLANs) and Microsoft server/client environments.
  • Apply working knowledge of relational databases, RAID, Intel server technologies, and WD Helium hard drives.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, and corrective action plans as needed.
