About The Position

The Senior Turnaround Project Manager is responsible for driving the execution of the turnaround management process for Houston Region Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Capital Project personnel to develop the scope of turnaround activities. Developing and submitting turnaround budget for approval. Evaluating and selecting suppliers for specific turnaround activities. Predicting, monitoring, and reporting turnaround costs in a timely fashion until closure. Developing and maintaining the turnaround schedule to ensure effective and efficient turnaround activities. Monitoring all requests for changes to ensure only approved work is performed. Overseeing the contractor workforce to ensure adherence with the company safety, environmental, and work policies. Maintaining effective communications with contract and full-time personnel to ensure tasks are executed correctly and timely. Manage all aspects of execution and report progress to management. Manages the turnaround closeout and demobilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with 10 plus years of Petrochemical Industry experience is required.
  • 10 + years of Maintenance experience including supervision is required.
  • Previous experience in planning and executing turnarounds is required.
  • Knowledge of ASME, API 510 & 570, ANSI, and ASTM industry standards is required.
  • Demonstrated MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle R12 knowledge is preferred.
