About The Position

Provides senior level project management oversight to planning, design and construction of healthcare projects or to a business strategy (involving a number of projects). Manages projects in any/all phases including initial business planning, planning, scoping, securing funding and approvals, estimating, design, securing permits, construction, equipping, furnishing, close- out, reports and presentations. Responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion of project, as well as, financial and schedule outcomes. Oversees, directs and manages project teams including facility administrators and engineers, ITS, Purchasing, financial staff, contracted consultants and general contractors. Responsible for developing project scope, budget and schedule. Mentors and supervises other Facilities Development staff, particularly Project Managers. Works at a more strategic level than Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts Architecture -Preferred or Bachelor of Arts Engineering - Preferred or Bachelor of Arts Construction Management - Preferred or Bachelor of Arts Project Management - Preferred or Bachelor of Arts Related Field - Preferred
  • 1 year Related Experience - Required
  • 7 years Medical Office - Required
  • Strong knowledge of principles of architecture, engineering and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, local laws and regulations related to health facility projects including OSHPD, entitlements and permitting process.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled at active listening and in tailoring communications to the audience.
  • Adept in reading dynamics of situation and responding appropriately.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.
  • Skilled at presenting to high level internal and external groups including preparing presentations.
  • Strategic thinking skills coupled with flexibility to devise alternative approaches and outcomes.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Sales/Marketing - Web Program Project Management - Preferred
  • Experience with eBuilder, Access, Photoshop, or similar programs desirable.
