About The Position

We represent the PMO (Program Management Office) team within Central Product Operations. Our team works collaboratively with cross-functional groups across Cisco, including Supply Chain, Product Management, Commerce Operations, Customer Experience, Business Units, Engineering, and IT teams, to effectively drive End-to-End Transformations, manage projects, and deliver crucial support for New Product Introductions and Product Lifecycle Management, which encompasses Products, Services, Parts, and Compliance. We are seeking a ‘Program Manager’ who aligns with our vision and applies innovative approaches to drive programs. Your Impact The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, driving, and delivering programs that support organizational strategy and priorities. This role coordinates multiple projects and cross-functional teams, ensures effective governance and communication, manages risk and interdependencies, and drives adoption and continuous improvement across the program lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of related project or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects or initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Associate or certificate in Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor programs across the full program lifecycle in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and/or teams in parallel to deliver on defined priorities.
  • Define and manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resources; adapt plans to evolving requirements and constraints.
  • Self-started with ability to Identify, manage, and control interdependencies across projects within the program.
  • Establish and operate program governance structures to enable timely, informed decision-making with the right partners.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to provide regular updates on program progress, outcomes, and financials.
  • Manage partner relationships across functions, ensuring alignment, transparency, and engagement.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate program risks, issues, and customer concerns.
  • Lead change management activities by assessing impacts, building awareness and support, and contributing to training and adoption efforts.
  • Ensure program objectives, outcomes, and maturity goals are achieved and sustained.
  • Define success metrics and evaluate program and project outcomes against agreed-upon goals.
  • Drive business and process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of delivery.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tools, and resourcing based on results and lessons learned.
  • Support upskilling, retraining, and development of team members to meet evolving program needs.
  • Provide guidance, training, or mentorship to new team members as required.
