About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for providing advanced expertise in complex project management and has expertise in change management and communications. Responsible for overall coordination, budgeting, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for risk identification, mitigation, and escalation through proper channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex projects and/or programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to understanding of project/program management lifecycle techniques, methods and tools including change, risk, and dependency management.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Change Management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate large amounts of information, compile into concise messages, and facilitate decision making by large, diverse leadership groups.
  • Proven ability to develop budgets, resource allocation, Key Performance Indicators, Business Cases and Cost Benefit Analyses.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing, documenting, developing recommending continuous improvements in business processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required including Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare billing and financials systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Uses project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, adhere to high quality standards, meet stakeholder expectations, and achieve the intended outcomes of the project.
  • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, risks, opportunities, and timeline issues appropriately.
  • Provides end to end project management support in terms of budgeting, reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for projects/programs.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise and external stakeholders that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources (people/money) of the work effort being managed.
  • Partners with senior management of the business to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
  • Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors.
  • Leads the execution of the project.
  • Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects.
  • Coordinates issues throughout organization, and externally, when necessary, to promote accurately represented information.
  • Acts as the key stakeholder in representing project/programs through the governance process including approvals, monitoring, and updates to the Governance Committee.
  • Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors.
  • Leads the execution of the project.
