About The Position

Dewberry is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Raleigh, NC office. Typical projects involve utility design, pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with opportunities to engage on treatment projects including process performance evaluation and process design. The Project Manager will have technical and project management responsibilities to lead water / wastewater design projects for municipal and private clients. This person will manage and leverage client relationships to position Dewberry to perform large and complex water/wastewater projects. The Project Manager will work as a peer with other water/wastewater practitioners throughout North Carolina to provide technical expertise to a range of projects. Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering is required.
  • 6-10 years’ experience with increasing levels of project management and client responsibilities.
  • PE license preferred or eligibility to obtain license with 1 year of employment.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplined design team.
  • Experience in development of design documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.

  • Coordinating a multi-disciplined project design team.
  • Managing project scope and budget.
  • Preparation of engineering reports.
  • Pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects.
  • Developing opinions of probable project cost.
  • Providing construction phase engineering services
