Project Manager (WMS & ERP)
About The Position
Project Manager – WMS & ERP Implementation Position Overview GMI Trading is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP platforms across our wholesale distribution operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully delivered WMS and ERP implementations in high-volume warehouse environments and understands both the technology and the operational realities behind it. You will partner closely with Operations, Finance, IT, and executive leadership to ensure our systems support scalable growth, real-time visibility, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully implementing WMS platforms in warehouse distribution environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading ERP implementations Dynamics, SAP, Sin7 and etc.)
- Strong understanding of wholesale or high-volume distribution operations.
- Experience integrating systems across operations and finance.
- Project management expertise with the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead ERP & WMS Implementations
- Own the full lifecycle of WMS and ERP implementation projects — from requirements gathering through go-live and stabilization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between GMI Trading and external system vendors.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee system configuration, testing, integrations, and user acceptance.
- Ensure seamless integration between WMS, ERP, TMS, and financial systems.
- Drive Operational Excellence
- Align system capabilities with real-world warehouse workflows.
- Improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and reporting visibility.
- Support warehouse automation initiatives, including conveyor and material handling systems.
- Lead system readiness for new warehouse launches and expansions.
- Partner Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT to redesign processes where needed.
- Translate business needs into system requirements.
- Identify risks early and develop practical solutions.
- Lead Change & Adoption
- Develop and execute training plans to ensure strong user adoption.
- Communicate clearly across all levels of the organization during implementation.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement planning.
