About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and completing remodeling and renovation projects at Glen Eyrie Castle & Conference Center and Eagle Lake Camp. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of the unique demands of hospitality environments.

Requirements

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • Minimum experience of 6 years in construction and/or Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, hospitality operations, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Facilities Management (FMP/CFM), or Hospitality Facilities Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to mid-size projects from start to completion, i.e. roof replacement, small building renovations, HVAC upgrades, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage maintenance and improvement projects across guest areas, meeting spaces, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Supervise contractors, vendors, and in-house maintenance staff to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, fire, and building codes, as well as hospitality industry standards.
  • This includes but is not limited to buildings, grounds, and vehicle maintenance.
  • General knowledge and understanding of repairs in these areas – electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, drywall-plaster-stucco and painting.
  • This may include all facets of construction from: - Framing, fine carpentry work, drywall, paint, roofing, and windows, electrical and plumbing, concrete, and masonry work.
  • Provides assistance as needed at both properties.
  • Use the maintenance tracking software, Maintenance Connection for assigned work.
  • - Complete work as assigned then comment and close work orders daily Works independently with minimal daily direction
  • - Not only does the work assigned but documents work that needs to be done
  • - Develops plans for getting work done
  • - Presents to Facilities management
  • - Also takes initiative with minor work and projects and gets the work done.
  • Takes on more supervisory type responsibilities
  • - As needed under the direction of facilities management help supervise facilities work, staff, and volunteers
  • - Help with planning work and projects to include research, design, and costs
  • Assist with training
  • Submit Monthly Expense Reports
  • Serve on the Facilities-on-Duty rotation (FOD).
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
  • Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
