Direct responsibility for successful management of contracts of various sizes.
Requirements
5-7 years of experience of direct project management experience, preferably in a capital equipment environment.
Job execution through an ERP process.
Excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management, vendors, and customers.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to create and manage project schedules.
Accurate, detail-oriented and possessing a “Can-Do" attitude. Able to thrive in a fast paced, highly flexible environment.
Bachelor of Science preferred (will consider significant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree).
Experience negotiating contracts >$1M with highly technical terms and conditions.
Nice To Haves
PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
Direct representative to customer. Responsible for managing customer expectations and communication.
Complete P&L accountability for projects.
Sales hand-over meeting management and documentation.
Convey Contract design and scope requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
Work with suppliers and engineering to ensure: customer interface of design, execution of design, and any potential warranty associated with design and supply.
Work closely with Operations groups to ensure timely completion of components.
Develop and communicate project schedule to stakeholders.
Work with procurement team to establish plans to ensure success of project.
Financial reporting to stakeholders.
Conduct post-shipment review and communicate action items appropriately.
