About The Position

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented consulting Project Manager to join our ERP Business Transformation implementation team. Under the guidance of the Avèro Program Manager, you will own and execute one or more workstreams within the overall system implementation. This could include any of the following workstreams or others as defined: ERP, HCM, EAM, Property Management, Budgeting, Procurement, and pre-implementation readiness. This role demands strong project management skills, the ability to manage a team and budgets, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. It requires a focus on delivering results within defined timelines.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience. Demonstrated experience in technology implementations and managing budgets is preferred.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of core system implementation concepts and familiarity with workstream areas like ERP, HCM, EAM, or Property Management is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at working with both technical and business teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Location: Hybrid, located in Portland, OR, with onsite presence required three days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Client facing: Experience supporting and communicating with external clients is a plus.
  • Consulting: Experience as a consultant is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Workstream Ownership: Manage the detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation for assigned workstream(s) of the ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan.
  • Process Management: Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define requirements, map processes, and support solution design in your designated area(s).
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts through engagement with the client Change Manager and project stakeholders.
  • Data Migration: Guide business users through data migration planning, governance, and execution.
  • Team Management: Lead and guide a team of business analysts and other project team members within your assigned workstream(s).
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage risks within assigned workstreams. Escalate potential impact on the broader project to the Program Manager. Develop and implement solutions to keep your project components on track.
  • Partner Coordination: Where required, work with vendor representatives and/or external partners to manage technical integrations and align on requirements.
  • Communication: Provide regular progress reports to the Program Manager, team members, and other project stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation as per defined standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in the development of test plans for assigned workstream(s). Support execution of testing and UAT, ensuring issues are addressed.
