About The Position

As a Project Manager you will support the successful execution of projects and programs in order to achieve the objectives concerning profitability, costs, quality and timing. Responsible for driving programs from acquisition to launch. Responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of project plan. Initiates all necessary support activities for the rest of the Product Life Cycle. Manages significant changes for products already in production.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience using program management tools (MS Project or similar planning software, Quality tools and methods, Risk Assessment and Mitigation, etc)
Professional experience in product development projects, ideally for customers in the automotive industry
A high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others (peers as well as upper management)
A high level of analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem solving
Ability to quickly interpret data and communicate conclusions
Good communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel in the region

Nice To Haves

Background in HVAC / Thermal / Engine Components products and / or manufacturing processes is a strong plus
Experience working in a global business with remote teams is a plus
PMP Certification is a plus
Creativity, strong initiative, self-motivation and an innovative attitude to help the team win new business and launch it in production with good quality at a good profit margin

Responsibilities

Functional leadership of the project team (motivate and influence team members to meet overall targets of the project)
Coordinate project team members, customers, internal and external development partners, suppliers, and production facilities
Organize and execute the Project Plan (plan and assign work packages to the team while monitoring and controlling the progress; project structure; project phases, schedule, and milestones; project organization, etc)
Ensure requirements management, simultaneous engineering (product & process) as well as effective opportunity and risk management
Manage all project stakeholders’ interests (includes reporting, escalation or compromise if necessary)
Ensure successful product launch
Team staffing to ensure right and sufficient resources
Overall responsibility and management of released project budget
Project reporting and presentation to management committees
Create and maintain transparency and traceability within the project
Coordinate and manage project changes and deviations considering the effects on the project objectives
