About The Position

Responsible for planning, coordination, and oversight of assigned Saracen facilities projects; as well as ensuring projects are completed within a timely, regulatory, and budgetary standard. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma, or general education degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Must have knowledge of applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, confident, and energetic with strong management and leadership skills.
  • Must be highly collaborative, detail oriented and able to articulate all aspects of projects to internal staff.
  • Must have training and knowledge of skill trades.
  • Must have ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and abstract and concreate variables.
  • Must have ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety procedures, maintenance operating procedures, and procedural manuals.
  • Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must have strong planning, analyzing, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Must work well with ever changing priorities and/or decisions.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening
  • Must have the physical ability to work with extreme weather as well as the ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have ability to squat, stand, bend, and reach with arms and hands frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Able to work in constricting areas.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Prepares project plans for each project. Specifies work equipment and maintenance standards, procedures and performance criteria for planned activities.
  • Prepares, negotiates and administers contracts for specialized facilities, maintenance work.
  • Effectively coordinates with all departments and vendors that are impacted and/or partners in the project execution.
  • Identifies material requirements and develops project budget for each project.
  • Prepares schedules associated with each project for review with project team and updates as required through the duration of the project.
  • Manages projects team throughout each phase of the project.
  • Work in conjunctions with the other members of the facilities department, and also ensures that they are kept aware of and regularly updated on the status of all projects.
  • Participates in the final punch, project closeout and customer handoff/approvals.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Attends all necessary training meetings.
  • Assist in other projects, as directed.
