About The Position

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, headquartered in Dallas, is a regulated electricity transmission and distribution business that uses superior asset management skills to provide reliable electricity delivery to consumers. Oncor (together with its subsidiaries) operates the largest transmission and distribution system in Texas, delivering power to nearly 4 million homes and businesses and operating more than 143,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines in Texas. The Project Planning Analyst will provide analytical, tracking, and coordination support to programs, both existing and under development. The analyst provides support to program managers responsible for Oncor’s System Resiliency Plan (SRP), system capacity, maintenance, and automation programs, as well as ad hoc initiatives and other analytics-focused assignments. This position will be responsible for the research, planning, design, and review of necessary applications to track and evaluate the progression of each program and supporting functions within the Design Program Services. This position will report on-site three plus days a week based out of our Downtown Fort Worth Corporate Office.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel.
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills to effectively manage large volumes of work.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of related work experience required. (Preferably in data tracking/analysis, operations, or project/program coordination)

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior team members, coordinators, and other organizational teams to develop processes and operational improvements.
  • Support and maintain tracking applications for current Distribution Programs such as SRP, Feeder Maintenance, System Capacity, and Automation, as well as any new developments.
  • Set up work requests for selected programs, communicate work request project lists with districts, assign work requests to designers, and track the progress of projects through design and construction.
  • Maintain accurate program data on SharePoint and other internal tools.
  • Set up assignments for contractors and certify invoices in Automated Construction Information System (ACIS) to track work completed and the associated costs and time reported.
  • Build reports to analyze relationships between data in various Distribution systems.
  • Build reports to monitor and analyze Distribution work orders and other related data.
  • Coordinate with various work groups to analyze project costs and other production attributes.
  • Promote best practices by continuously evaluating methods, techniques, and software used to fulfill project tracking needs within Program Management Design Services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Be proactive in improving existing processes by establishing and maintaining process documentation and developing procedures to enhance existing Project Management Design Services (PMDS) reporting needs through automation and SharePoint applications.
  • Occasionally work after normal working hours to support system operations.
  • Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
