About The Position

Wood is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join our Process & Chemicals business. This opportunity is Hybrid. Wood is currently seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. This position will be responsible for the supervision and guidance of a deployed supply chain project team. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting.   Key aspects of the role include the supervision of the supply chain activities and assigned supply chain personnel working within the project.   Clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and incorporates those into appropriate project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions. Has broad base knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, interfaces with Wood legal/commercial experts and can under guidance initiate/discuss adaptations in order to reach a robust commercial agreement. Regularly monitors and reports progress of all project procurement activities. Ensures team regularly update reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management.
