Job Summary Mass General Brigham’s Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) is seeking a Project Specialist to support systemwide initiatives that address patients social risks and reduce health disparities. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who is energized by improving systems, thrives in collaborative environments, and takes pride in creating clarity, structure, and follow-through that helps teams and projects succeed. The Project Specialist's scope will include collaboratively implementing and tracking projects, day to day management of key initiatives, ensuring adherence to risk contract requirements, and general administrative and task-based support for workflows and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Project management or project support experience 1-2 years required
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Basic financial/accounting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project related deliverables such as project plans, PowerPoint presentations, status reports, meeting minutes, meeting facilitation documents, and issue/decision logs
  • Monitor implementation and progress of various projects and escalate issues raised by stakeholders
  • Present ideas, policies, updates, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders/leaders as needed
  • Compiling, monitoring, and communicating key data to enable critical operations and ensure programs maintain the best possible outcomes
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager, support activities to ensure compliance with Medicaid ACO contract
  • Act as liaison with Mass General Brigham HealthPlan for issues and questions related to the Medicaid ACO contract
  • Establish contacts and strong working relationships across PHSO teams and leadership, MGB departments, hospital and entity staff and leadership, and vendors
