About The Position

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Analyst to provide comprehensive support to our Project Manager. This role is located at Ft Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the successful execution of projects by assisting with a wide range of tasks, including documentation, planning, and coordination. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • High School Diploma and 2-3 years of relevant work experience in project management or a related field. This experience can include roles such as project coordinator, project assistant, or other positions that involve project oversight and management tasks.
  • Knowledge of government contracting and acquisition processes.
  • Proven experience in project management support or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Experience in a technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Personnel Recovery (PR) operations, planning, or formal education/training in Personnel Recovery principles, doctrine, and processes.
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) mission and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain documents and plans related to contract acquisition, management, and administration.
  • Assist in the development and management of project budgets, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports.
  • Support the procurement process by drafting solicitations, preparing routine responses for proposals and bids, and analyzing contract requirements.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met and that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions of the agreements.
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure that all team members are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings, setting expectations for the project team and reporting on progress.
  • Provide support to technology-focused projects, including tests and experimentation.
  • Assist with the installation and delivery of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate design, development, and issue resolution processes.
  • Prepare and maintain all project-related documentation, ensuring it is organized and archived appropriately.
  • Generate and present regular status reports on project progress, including any problems and solutions, to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels.
