About The Position

Our comprehensive range of products and services covers every link of the integrated supply chain – from maritime and inland terminals to marine services and industrial parks as well as technology-driven customer solutions. The Proposal Writer supports the Sales organization by developing high-quality, customer-facing bids, proposals, and RFP responses while also providing broader support to Sales Operations & Enablement initiatives. This role partners closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Pricing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, compelling, and aligned with company processes and systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, confident working within systems, and has a strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and proposal development. For this position, we are looking for someone that has experience in the aforementioned activity at a logistics company – contract logistics, warehousing and distribution, and/or freight forwarding and transportation management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience writing or supporting sales proposals, bids, or customer-facing documentation
  • General understanding of sales processes and the end-to-end sales lifecycle
  • High level of confidence working within defined processes and systems (CRM, proposal tools, document management platforms)
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams or Regional Key Accounts
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics) and proposal automation tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally, for example Finance, Pricing, and Legal teams
  • Strong background in Sales Operations/Enablement, Commercial Operations or direct Sales

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, edit, and manage customer-facing proposals, bids, RFP/RFI responses, and related sales documentation
  • Ensure all proposals align with established sales processes, approval workflows, and system requirements
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Pricing, and Legal to gather input and ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness
  • Maintain consistency in messaging, branding, pricing narratives, and value propositions across all proposals
  • Translate complex operational, pricing, and service information into clear, customer-friendly language
  • Manage proposal timelines and deadlines to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
  • Maintain proposal documentation, templates, and content libraries
  • Provide support to Sales Operations & Enablement, including ad hoc operational assistance as required
  • Assist with initiatives that improve proposal processes, sales efficiency, or enablement tools
  • Help maintain process documentation, best practices, and training materials related to proposals and sales workflows
