About The Position

Early career and experienced human services professionals are encouraged to consider an available full-time Protective Services Case Worker position with Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program. The mission of this program is to detect, prevent, reduce and eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults who are living with disabilities. Key responsibilities As a Protective Services Case Worker, you will focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others. Each day you will travel throughout the region and conduct investigations in residences. You will interview individuals to determine if reports of need are substantiated, then document your findings, develop service plans, and manage cases through to closure. This is very important work that leads to a high degree of job satisfaction through serving and protecting others. What can I expect in this role? Starting pay is approximately $50,000 (paid $24.05 per hour) with opportunities to earn additional income by working optional overtime and taking on additional cases.
