Come and join our Community Empowerment Resources (CER) family! Our clinic is expanding, and we’re looking for new team members. CER is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing behavioral health services to adults and children experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, and/or homelessness, and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to deliver client-centered, trauma-informed care via telehealth and/or in-clinic. Telehealth and in-person in clinic positions are available. Telehealth providers are required to have some minimal in clinic presence (due to regulations governing controlled substance prescribing). CER offers a full continuum of care, including case management, a crisis stabilization facility, Intensive Outpatient Programming, and outpatient services through our Integrated Health and Wellness Clinic. Our clinic provides primary medical care, psychiatric medication management, individual therapy, and group therapy—delivering coordinated whole-person treatment under one roof. We receive consistent referrals from community partners and hospital systems, ensuring providers have access to a steady and meaningful caseload. Our multidisciplinary team includes LMHCs, LCSWs, DNPs, FNPs, APRN-Rxs, and psychiatrists from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds who collaborate closely to support positive client outcomes. CER adheres to the Five Principles of the Recovery Model in all phases of service delivery: Hope, Purpose, Acceptance, Mutual Help, and Responsibility. Our providers play a vital role in promoting these principles through compassionate client-centered, trauma-informed care. To support our providers, our administrative team manages scheduling, referral processing, and client intake—allowing clinicians to focus on high-quality care rather than administrative tasks. Time Commitment (Minimum Requirements): Full time and Part time is available. Must have a minimum of 12 hours per week available for client scheduling Attend at least one Provider staff meeting per month (60 minutes) See also “Key Responsibilities” below.
