The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a Rural Health Clinic. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions through therapy and medication management. The PMHNP works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, addressing the unique challenges of mental health in a rural community while promoting overall well-being. Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- Current Wisconsin license as an Advanced Practice Nurse and maintain good standing on the BRH Medical Staff
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification; Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialing required or Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialing preferred
- Completion of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program
- Must maintain current BLS certification

- Prefer experience with primary care psychiatry.
