Earn $19.55/hour with our Enhanced Pay option.

Position Details:

The Psychiatric Technician II ensures the safety and well-being of residents in
the Residential Program, with a focus on therapy and personal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Criminal Justice/related human services field required.
• Minimum one year experience in the mental health field required.
• Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead psycho-educational groups to foster peer interaction, problem-solving, and treatment goal achievement.
• Assist residents in building life skills for independent living.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all reporting requirements.
• Support residents with household tasks and teach essential daily living skills (e.g., hygiene, time management).
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Contribute to a therapeutic environment that encourages personal growth, with opportunities for advancement within the program.
