Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - Supervising Physician
About The Position

Our platform streamlines documentation and compliance so providers can focus on delivering high-quality care to seniors. We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) who operates their own clinic or private practice to collaborate with our team as a Supervising Physician for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) serving assisted living communities. This role is ideal for psychiatrists who already have an established outpatient clinic and are interested in expanding their professional collaboration while supporting psychiatric care for seniors.
Requirements
- MD or DO with active California medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Must operate their own clinic or psychiatric practice
- Active DEA license
- Experience working with or supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Nice To Haves
- Medicare credentialing preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as Supervising / Collaborating Psychiatrist for PMHNPs
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation
- Conduct patient evaluations and provide psychiatric care as needed
- Participate in case reviews and chart discussions
- Support high-quality psychiatric care in assisted living communities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for NP supervision
