Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient team in Birmingham, Alabama. This position is 100% outpatient with a Monday–Friday schedule and light monthly call rotation. You’ll provide high-quality psychiatric care in a collaborative, supportive environment, working alongside and supervising mid-level providers.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN).
- Active or eligible medical license in State that you are applying to
- Experience or strong interest in addiction treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience supervising mid-level providers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.
- Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care.
- Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per facility standards.
