About The Position

Psychology interns will provide direct patient care including psychological assessment and psychotherapy in outpatient and/or hospital-based settings and will participate in supervision. They will work collaboratively on interprofessional teams. Interns will participate in didactics, meetings, programs and conferences, conduct research resulting in presentations and/or publications, and successfully complete all program requirements. Individuals in this position will be part of an APA-accredited internship program, subject to the policies and procedures of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC).

Requirements

  • A master’s degree or the equivalent in clinical or counseling psychology is required
  • Statement from the trainee’s graduate school Director of Clinical Training that the trainee has met all requirements for starting internship
  • Interns must be enrolled in an APA accredited graduate program
  • The successful completion of a background check is required
