About The Position

NuCara LTC is looking for a part-time delivery driver. This position delivers medications to various homes within 90 mile radius. Qualified candidate must be able to drive in normal as well as winter weather conditions, be able to lift 40-50 pounds and maintain delivery logs. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 4:30 PM to midnight, 10-20 hours per week. Some Saturdays starting at noon until all deliveries are complete. One on call weekend per month. Job Description Drive a vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and deliver goods such as medications, devices, forms or pick up items. May also obtain signatures and collect payments upon delivery. Tasks Drive vehicles in order to deliver medications, supplies, deposits, or other items or pick up items. Collect payment from customers when necessary, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts. Obtain signatures upon delivery. May need to use phones, and basic electronic devices. Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes. Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services. Maintain vehicles and clean inside and outside of vehicles routinely. Education A high-school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license in good standing Driving record with no or very minor violations; no major violations acceptable Employment contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background-driving record checks.
