About The Position

UT Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) provides the campus access, mobility, and services through policies that are customer focused, environmentally friendly, and economically sound. PTS is looking for drivers for an on-campus circular shuttle, utilizing UT vehicles. Drivers will provide courtesy cart transportation to faculty, staff, students, and visitors across campus.

Requirements

  • Staff must be reliable, responsible, and have regular availability.
  • Must maintain an unexpired Texas Driver’s License and a clear driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be enrolled at an institution of higher learning and meet enrollment eligibility requirements for a non-academic student position [https://hr.utexas.edu/student/eligibility-work].
  • Must not be working for another UT dept. or State of Texas dept.

  • Customer service skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Staff will drive carts along the inner parts of campus, assisting with directions and providing rides.
