About The Position

Summit Club is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to join the Clubhouse Residential Services Department. The Clubhouse Public Area Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere within designated areas of our esteemed residential community. This individual ensures the clubhouse remains well-kept, visually appealing, and exceeds the expectations of both residents and guests. Working closely with the clubhouse management team, the attendant is committed to delivering outstanding service while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a high-end residential or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the clubhouse.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with residents, guests, and management.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to apply them in the workplace.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Safety consciousness at all times while using machinery and chemicals to avoid injury to self and others
  • Works and promotes a team environment
  • Be able to work nights, weekends.
  • Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Be able to stand for lengths of time

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of previous housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring their availability for daily operations.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as required, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
  • Ensure all public areas, including hallways, lobby, and common spaces, are consistently clean and presentable.
  • Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and free of damage or stains.
  • Respond promptly to clubhouse management requests for immediate cleaning needs or special cleaning projects.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents and guests.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry practices and cleaning techniques to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day laundering of pool, spa & salon and fitness linen.
  • Complete daily laundry operations tasks such as folding towels and robes, stocking, organizing PAR levels, tracking Rejects and treating stains.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management
