About The Position

The Public Space Attendant ensures the hotel’s common areas consistently reflect the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort. By maintaining lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and outdoor spaces, this role directly contributes to guest satisfaction, the hotel’s reputation, and overall operational excellence. With attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality, the Public Space Attendant creates a welcoming and polished environment that enhances every guest’s experience. HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, and elevators. Ensure public restrooms are fully stocked and sanitized throughout the day. Maintain furniture, fixtures, windows, mirrors, and décor to ensure they remain clean and presentable. Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering directions or information about hotel amenities as needed. Identify and report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to the supervisor for prompt resolution. Support the hotel’s commitment to safety by addressing hazards such as wet floors or loose fixtures immediately. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or public space cleaning preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
