About The Position

Hydro Resources is seeking a high-level Technical Operations Leader to manage our field-based pumping systems. This role is a hybrid of strategic operations, people leadership, and hands-on electrical engineering. We need a "unicorn" candidate who can design a complex pumping system, program the PLC, and manage the project budget all in the same day. The Pump Manager at Hydro Resources is a high-level technical lead responsible for the design and operation of industrial-grade pumping systems. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (highly preferred) and mastery over the electrical systems that drive our business, from PLC/SCADA programming to high-voltage power for turbine engines. The Three Pillars of Responsibility 1. Operations Management System & Operations Design: Design and implement efficient field operations and equipment workflows. Resource Planning: Manage schedules, high-value equipment assets, and logistical resources. Fiscal Oversight: Direct responsibility for budget management, project profitability, and resource efficiency. 2. People Management Team Oversight: Lead and schedule field technicians; assign the right personnel to specific sites and projects. Lifecycle Talent Management: Responsible for the full talent cycle, including hiring, firing, and performance management. Training: Develop and spearhead technical training programs to ensure the field crew is the best in the industry. 3. Technical Leadership (Hands-On) Electrical Engineering: Design custom electrical and pumping systems based on specific customer needs and project constraints. Automation: Full responsibility for programming and setting up PLC programs, PLC panels, and SCADA systems. Power Distribution: Expert-level knowledge of currents, voltage, and electrical power needs, particularly for turbine engines and industrial pumps. Future-Proofing: Strategize for future equipment and supply needs to keep Hydro Resources at the cutting edge.
