About The Position

Responsible for managing water well service projects, assessing and diagnosing well and pump equipment problems, and coordinating with suppliers. Troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining line shaft and submersible turbine pumps, as rehabilitation in agricultural, industrial, municipal and mining environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 or more years’ experience in the industry
• Experience in all phases of commercial, industrial and municipal well work including turbine and submersible pump work/well rehabilitation
• Welding, electrical and construction knowledge and experience are helpful
• Experience with Microsoft office programs
• Must have good driving record
• CDL preferred
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Operate and manage pump equipment
• Perform routine maintenance checks
• Ability to problem solve and issue prompt responses
• Supervise staff
• Handle customer inquiries for pump work
• Maintain crew schedules, review time sheets, perform employee reviews
• Maintain detailed records-daily work, vehicle and safety reports
• Communicate effectively with management, crews and customers
• Installation and removal of line shaft and submersible turbine water well pumps
• Demonstrate the ability to perform pump work in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
