Pump Technician, First Shift - $1,000 Sign on Bonus!

We are hiring for a Pump Technician to join our First Shift team! Xylem is hiring! As the Pump Technician on first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm). As a member of the Production Team, you will be assembling, disassembling, hydrostatic testing and performance testing of pumps. Receiving and stocking inventory, pulling orders for both pump and parts orders, part identification, assembling parts orders, prepping and painting orders and final packaging for shipment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a pump technician or in a similar role
- Experience with assembling and disassembling pumps or other rotating equipment, including tearing them down according to standard procedure
- Fork-Lift/Crane experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills and enjoys a variety of work / multi-tasking
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull and move about the facility
- Ability to climb ladders, lift and carry heavy loads, perform manual labor.
- Ability to work in areas involving heights, enclosed spaces, and near or above water.
- Work with material handling equipment, hand tools, and daily exposure to shop elements
- Walk or stand at least 8+ hours per day
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
