Requirements

  • 1–3 years of maintenance or renovation experience in multifamily housing, construction, or property management.
  • Experience with basic carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in apartment renovations or punch-out work.
  • Knowledge of apartment turn processes and move-in readiness standards.
  • HVAC or EPA certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete punch list items for renovated or recently repaired apartment homes prior to resident move-in.
  • Perform minor repairs including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, trim work, and hardware installation.
  • Inspect units after renovation or maintenance work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Address cosmetic and functional issues such as paint touch-ups, door adjustments, cabinet repairs, and fixture replacements.
  • Install or repair basic apartment components including blinds, appliances, outlets, light fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Ensure all completed work meets safety standards and company quality expectations.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Communicate punch list completion status to the Maintenance Supervisor or Renovation Manager.
  • Assist with other maintenance tasks when needed to support property operations
