About The Position

As a Purchasing Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the buyers with various administrative tasks within the current system, Premier. The client is transitioning to Workday in April, and this position will involve ensuring a smooth transition. Your focus will be on checking statuses on purchase orders, updating systems, and following up with the internal team via phone or email. You will also be responsible for calling vendors for quotes and updates on expected deliveries, answering calls regarding pending items, and cleaning up the system.

Requirements

  • Experience with purchase orders and data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, including Workday.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Effective email correspondence skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic office and administrative skills.
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, and order entry.
  • Experience in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Strong computer skills and professional emailing capabilities.
