About The Position

We’re hiring aPurchasing Analyst to support procurement operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role works closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure materials are sourced cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• You should be proficient in: Supplier Management
• Distribution Experience
• Vendor & Supplier Management
• Budgeting / Forecasting Experience
• Sourcing and Procurement Experience
• Supplier Negotiation Experience
• Machines & technologies you'll use: Quality Control Software

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Plex, or IQMS
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, PPAP, or ISO standards
• Japanese language skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Support RFQs, quote analysis, and supplier cost comparisons
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
• Analyze purchasing and cost data, including PPV
• Prepare reports using Excel and ERP systems
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Finance
• Support new part launches and engineering changes
• Assist with resolving shortages and supplier disruptions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Occasional supplier travel as needed
