We are celebrating our 100th year of growth in our industry and want you to grow with us! The Purchasing clerk is responsible for a variety of duties to ensure orderly and timely delivery of materials from vendors. This position is perfect for a detail minded individual with great organizational skills. Advancement opportunities available in this position!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Place vendor orders
- Talk directly with vendors to confirm receipt of purchase orders
- Receive, enter and follow up on PO confirmations
- Expediting and tracking
- Run purchase order reports through our ERP system
- Pricing and shipping discrepancies
- Process RMA’s
- Filing
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
