We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in purchasing orders, ensuring materials and outside services are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with production needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
• Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, AS9100, ISO13485)
• Background in scheduling, inventory control, or supply chain planning

Responsibilities

• Place and manage purchase orders for outside service vendors and materials
• Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with vendors
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams
• Monitor material flow and communicate priorities to meet production goals
• Support quality processes, including handling defective material and non-conforming inventory
• Maintain accurate data and processes within the ERP system
• Track and support key metrics such as on-time delivery, past-due POs, and inventory levels
• Help evaluate supplier capacity and performance to meet demand
