About The Position

A Purchasing Manager is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies. This role oversees procurement processes to maintain quality standards, control costs, and ensure timely delivery aligned with company objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. (On the job experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems
• Analytical and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Experience in industry-specific procurement (manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.)
• Experience managing vendor contracts and long-term supplier agreements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals

• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks
• Lead and supervise procurement staff
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
• Perform other duties as assigned
