The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on automation skills, leadership capability, and experience collaborating across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams. This role focuses on leading automation delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring high‑quality releases—not enterprise architecture strategy.Core Competencies Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand requirements and help the QA team resolve functional and technical queries. Identify key business processes and convert them into structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Develop, execute, and oversee testing strategies ensuring full coverage, timely execution, and quality outcomes. Provide regular status updates and report quality metrics (test coverage, defect density, execution progress). Strong experience in QA automation, CI/CD integration, DevOps-driven testing, environment management, and risk mitigation. Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, LLMs, AI-driven testing accelerators, and prompt engineering. Ability to perform solution analysis and contribute to technical discussions with development and DevOps teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation and test engineering.
  • Expertise in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST‑assured, or similar.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong version control experience using Git and familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI‑assist tools.
  • Experience with DevOps concepts including environment setup, monitoring, and automated deployments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of automation test plans, test cases, and automation suites.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of automation frameworks (UI, API, regression, and integration).
  • Drive the adoption of automation best practices, coding standards, and efficient testing methodologies.
  • Mentor and support QA team members on tools, frameworks, and application logic to improve testing quality.
  • Foster continuous improvement across automation processes, test effectiveness, and delivery speed.
  • Utilize AI tools, LLMs, and GitHub Copilot to improve test case design, script generation, and productivity.
  • Support defect triage, root‑cause analysis, and release readiness activities.
